You don’t need to be outspoken, social, or emotionally strong to join. Group counselling is especially helpful if you're dealing with things like stress, anxiety, low self-worth, relationship issues, grief, or emotional burnout. It's also for individuals who are going through life transitions — like starting college, entering adulthood, facing work pressure, or managing personal changes — and need a space to feel heard and supported.

In group sessions at Reboot, you’ll meet others who may feel just like you — nervous, unsure, but hopeful. You’ll never be forced to speak or share unless you feel ready. Our practical module

At Reboot, we understand how uncertain or even scary it can feel to join a group counselling session — especially if it’s your first time. That’s why we’ve created a warm, safe, and thoughtfully guided process to help you feel at ease, every step of the way.

Step 1: A Warm Welcome and Initial Conversation

Before assigning you to a group, we'll have a one-on-one conversation with you to better understand your needs, difficulties, and comfort level. This allows us to place you in a group that is appropriate for you emotionally, psychologically, and respectfully.

Step 2: Matching You with the Right Group

Every group at Reboot is carefully chosen. We gather people who have similar difficulties (such as stress, marital problems, low self-esteem, sorrow, or anxiety) so that everyone feels comfortable, understood, and on the same path.

Step 3: Your First Group Session – No Pressure, Just Presence

When you arrive for your first group session, you will discover a small, inviting circle of individuals led by a skilled therapist. You will not be pressured to talk or contribute immediately. Many people begin just by listening. You will never be judged. You will always be respected.

Step 4: Guided Sharing and Gentle Exploration

Our facilitator (your therapist) will lead the session, assisting each individual to reflect, discuss, or explore their ideas and emotions. You'll start to hear people express emotions similar to yours, and you'll understand that you're not alone.

Step 5: Learning Together – Tools, Insights & Support

Each session also contains easy, practical tools or exercises to assist you with stress management, emotional understanding, confidence building, and personal development. You will learn from your counsellor and, in many cases, from one another.

Step 6: Regular Sessions for Ongoing Growth

Group counseling is usually held once a week or biweekly. Each session builds on the previous one, gradually developing trust, connection, and emotional strength. You'll start to notice changes, both inside yourself and among the group.

Step 7: Closure or Continued Support – Your Choice

When your group cycle ends, you have the option of continuing, transitioning to another type of therapy (such as individual sessions), or just taking what you've learned and applying it in your daily life. Whatever you decide, Reboot will always be there for you.

You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to be “strong. "You just need to show up as you are. We’ll take care of the rest — with care, compassion, and community. Because healing happens not only in solitude, but in shared stories and understanding hearts.

Our Individual At Reboot, group counselling is currently offered through the following mode:

In-Person Sessions Only
Group counselling is available exclusively at our counselling center in Tirupur, providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for meaningful group interaction.

Please note: Online counselling is not available for group sessions at this time, as we believe the in-person setting allows for deeper connection and more effective support.
